Michael Glover started Paramount Dynamics. We design aircraft, spacecraft, and small unmanned vehicles, and we write the software that flies them.
How we got here
Michael still runs it.
The company exists because he wanted the airframe and the control in the same office. Too many programs fail in the gap between a beautiful CAD model and the code that has to live on it. We didn't want to be on either side of that gap. We wanted the whole thing.
Phoenix is not a placeholder. The office is here, the people are here, and the work stays here. When we take a program, we mean to still be on it after the first flight.
What we take on
Vehicles that have to fly, point, or hover.
We take programs where the vehicle and the way it moves are the same problem: structure, actuation, sensing, and the software that has to live with all of that. Combat aircraft, spacecraft mechanisms, small electric VTOL. Different shapes. Same argument.
We are a bad fit if you only need a drawing quoted, or a software team that never sees hardware. We are a better fit if the program is a machine that doesn't exist yet, and someone has to own it until it does.
